Portal & API

Your catalog, published directly from the data

The same records that print your datasheets can serve your public catalog: a hosted product site with only your published, public-tier fields — plus a read-only API for your website, distributors, or ERP. Change a spec and both are current on the next request. Both come with the Growth plan and up.

A public catalog site, included from Growth

Workspaces on the Growth plan and up get a hosted portal: families, product pages, photos, spec tables, and downloadable documents — published records and public-tier fields only, enforced by the same database rules as everything else.

  • Your logo, brand color, and hero image
  • An imperial/metric toggle for visitors
  • Portal UI in English, French, and Spanish

Built to be found

Clean URLs, per-product pages, per-tenant sitemaps, and sensible metadata — the portal is a real website search engines can index, not an iframe viewer.

  • Per-tenant sitemap.xml generated from published records
  • Product pages with structured, crawlable spec tables
  • Compare pages across records in a family

A read-only API with scoped keys

REST endpoints serve your published records as JSON. Keys are read-only and tier-scoped at creation — a key minted for your website can only ever read public fields, no matter who holds it.

  • Tables, records, and document downloads over REST
  • Tier-scoped, revocable API keys
  • OpenAPI reference at /developers — no login required

Always current, by construction

The portal and API read the published data directly — there is no sync job to fail and no export to forget. When a spec changes and is republished, the product page and the JSON answer are already right; the PDFs get flagged for regeneration.

  • No copy of the data between you and your public site
  • Unpublishing a record removes it everywhere at once
  • Rate limiting protects the anonymous surface
